Vous me fais tourner la tête

I bet my life that all the people around the world would agree with me when I say that no human being is perfect, + that we all make mistakes, all the time. Now, just in case most of you haven’t realised, the Church is after all made of human beings + yes, they do make mistakes, coz no matter how much faith you have you’re not going to be perfect in this world.
An article on page 13 of The Times starts off by saying, “The Pope, in his much-anticipated Urbi et Orbi (to the city and the world) message, made no mention of the scandals..” well dude, of course not, its Easter, Christians celebrate Jesus’ resurrection, that’s the reason they’d go to the Vatican on that day!
I’m not defending any priest abusers + paedophiles, in my honest opinion those people have serious brain problems + need all the help they can get. But these people are everywhere, even in schools, but just because a teacher in a school turns out to being a paedophile doesn’t mean that that school is evil + should be closed down + that the press should make the school look like it’s a factory producing paedophile after paedophile. These people don’t have “Hey, I’m a paedophile!” written across their foreheads when they go in for priesthood, + the Church does not have anything like a metal detector to detect any paedophiles. So yes, I’m sure there are more priest paedophiles around, but that doesn’t make me think that my religion is wrong in any way or that the Church is fake. After all it’s God we put our focus on + not the priests.
